Purpose of the processing
We are collecting citizen science data about the reproductive timing of medium-sized mammals to investigate the impact of climate change.
To use the webpage and submit data, there is no need to create an account or provide the name and email address. Given as an option in the webpage, the email address is used to give feedback and information about the project to the person who collected the scientific data. The purpose of storing and processing the location (or alternatively only the Kommun) of where you have found a dead animal is to analyse the geographical variation of the reproductive status of medium-sized mammals.
SLU is a public authority and is obligated to comply with the regulations for official documents, the archives of public authorities and public statistics. Consequently, SLU will also process your personal data as required for SLU to comply with the applicable regulations.
Legal basis
The legal basis for storing your data (location or alternatively only the Kommun, and the email address as option) is based on consent.
How we process and display your personal data
Your data collection, geographical data (location or alternatively only the Kommun), and your optional personal data (email address) will be stored on servers at SLU and be visible to researchers involved in the Research Program Reproduktionstider hos däggdjur i en föränderlig värld.
We will store your optional personal data (email address) until data collection will be ongoing, which corresponds to the end of the Research Program by the end of 2025.
Rights of the data subject
The use of personal data is based on consent and the data subject has the right to withdraw this consent.

We may slightly update our Privacy Policy. Thus, you are advised to review this page for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
